Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE Assistant to support educational and caregiving activities within our organization. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education, working with children, and providing nurturing care. The Assistant will collaborate closely with educators and caregivers to create a positive and engaging environment for children.

Duties

- Support classroom activities by assisting teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational programs

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children to promote learning and development

- Help supervise children during activities, transitions, and playtime to ensure safety and engagement

- Assist with preparing materials and setting up learning environments to facilitate effective instruction

- Support caregiving routines such as diapering, and personal hygiene as needed

- Foster a nurturing environment by building positive relationships with children and encouraging social interaction

- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform instructional strategies





- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive activities tailored to individual children's abilities

Skills

- Minimum 1 year prior classroom experience or familiarity with early childhood education is preferred

- Strong teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and a caring attitude

- Ability to effectively engage children and support their developmental milestones

- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and caregivers

- Ability to adapt activities for diverse learning styles and needs

- Caregiving skills including patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing demeanor

- Passion for working with children and creating a positive learning workplace

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
