We are seeking a responsible, patient, and caring ECE or ECEA to provide one-on-one support for a child with special needs.

Schedule: 3 days per week, 4 hours per day

Hours: 12 hours per week

Location: East Vancouver

Start date: As soon as possible

Pay: $20/hour

Job Responsibilities

Provide attentive one-on-one support in a safe and nurturing environment

Follow the child's established routines and individualized support plan

Assist with play, learning activities, communication, and social-emotional development

Support the child's personal care needs when required

Use positive, patient, and age-appropriate guidance

Observe the child's progress and communicate regularly with the family

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

Work collaboratively with the family and other professionals involved in the child's care





Qualifications

Valid ECE or ECEA certification

Experience supporting children with special needs is strongly preferred

Patient, dependable, compassionate, and responsible

Robust communication and relationship-building skills

Able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality

Current First Aid and CPR certification
