We are hiring an experienced Bookkeeper for an established employer in Chilliwack, BC.

This is a senior, hands on bookkeeping role. You will own the day to day accounting and work closely with the finance lead, who handles year end and higher level reporting.

What you will own

- Full cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, GL and payroll
- Monthly bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- Payroll processing, timesheets, perks deductions and vacation accruals
- Remittances and filings
- Month end and year end prep, documentation and schedules
- Vendor and customer billing, collections and payment inquiries

What we are looking for

- 5+ years of hands on bookkeeping, ideally full cycle to trial balance
- Comfortable working across more than one entity, including intercompany reconciliations
- Payroll processing experience
- Strong systems aptitude. You will be working in an industry specific ERP,



so we need someone who understands the accounting behind the entries and can pick up new software quickly
- Accurate, organized, discreet, and able to work independently against recurring deadlines
- Accounting or bookkeeping certificate is an asset. CPA is not required

The details

- Permanent, full time
- $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
