- Assist with catering and food-truck preparation when required
- Communicate operational concerns promptly to the owner
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of recent line-cooking experience in a busy kitchen
- Previous lead, supervisory or shift-lead experience is preferred
- Strong cooking, preparation and kitchen-organization skills
- Ability to maintain food quality and consistency during busy periods
- Ability to lead service without constant supervision after training
- Dependable attendance and reliable communication
- Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable providing direction and correcting issues professionally
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable transportation to our Westsyde location
- Consistent availability for afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have recent line-cooking experience and be capable of leading a service independently after completing their training.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting wage of $23–$25 per hour, based on demonstrated experience
- Tip-out typically averaging an additional $3–$5 per hour

Performance Bonus Following successful completion of the three-month probationary period, the Lead Cook will enter our quarterly performance bonus program.
The first bonus will be assessed after six months of employment based on restaurant sales and kitchen performance during months four through six. Future bonuses will be assessed quarterly and will depend on meeting established sales, food-quality, preparation, stock-control and kitchen-performance targets.
