Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled labourer with flooring experience minimum 2 years to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate vinyl plank ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a energetic environment, utilizing your carpentry and handyman skills to deliver exceptional results.

Must have your own transportation to get to and from job sites

Must live in penticton area

Duties

- Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation according to blueprints and project plans
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install flooring materials accurately
- Lay hardwood, vinyl plank, laminate, or other flooring materials with precision and attention to detail
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as leveling, sanding,



and caulking to ensure a smooth finish
- Install trim, baseboards, and transitions to complete flooring projects professionally
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications

Experience

- Proven experience in flooring installation, or related construction work
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, carpentry, and handyman tasks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Prior experience with caulking and surface finishing techniques is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Permanent Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
