Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction is met promptly




- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring overall guest happiness

Experience

- Proven food service experience in a busy restaurant or food industry setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and hospitality expertise
