Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks.
- Install cabinetry, countertops, drywall, siding, flooring, tile, and other interior or exterior finishes with precision.
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare surfaces for finishing work.
- Apply construction painting techniques to enhance surfaces and ensure durability.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, woodworking, assembly, and finishing tasks.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, including caulking, siding repairs, and masonry touch-ups.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of finishing phases while maintaining safety standards.




- Assist with plumbing and electrical rough-ins or finishes as needed to support comprehensive project completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on finishing carpentry or related trades such as drywall installation, flooring, or masonry.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and understanding schematics to accurately execute detailed work plans.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read technical drawings is a plus.
- Familiarity with roofing, siding installation, rebar placement, and caulking techniques enhances versatility in the role.
- Previous handyman experience or general construction background is highly valued for adaptability across various tasks.
- Robust understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding use, electrical work, plumbing connections, and working at heights.
