Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that ensures our guests enjoy seamless service from ordering to dining. Your enthusiasm for food service, strong customer service skills, and attention to cleanliness will help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling specials when appropriate
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service




- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during busy periods, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely, maintain sanitation standards, and follow health regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in serving, food handling, and hospitality environments is desirable
- Excellent time management skills to work efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
