Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of materials and tools. Your expertise will contribute to building high-quality frameworks, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
- Construct and install wall frames, floors, ceilings, stairs, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming and finishing to create durable foundations and structures
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing materials with attention to detail
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or moving large structural components
- Conduct restoration work by repairing or replacing damaged framing or structures as needed




- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools, working at heights, or operating heavy machinery

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of woodworking, concrete forming, drywall installation, and siding techniques
- Experience with construction site safety procedures and heavy equipment operation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing rough-ins related to framing projects is a plus
- Knowledge of welding techniques for structural reinforcement is desirable
