Niik Steel Inc. is seeking reliable and hardworking General Helpers to join our steel fabrication team.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general shop and yard labour duties.
- Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, receiving, and storing materials.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts when trained and authorized.
- Assist with Wheelabrator operations, tack welding, and other assigned shop duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and instructions from the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a steel fabrication or industrial environment is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical labour and handle materials safely.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset.

Position Details:

- Position classification: General Helper (Helper 1),



as applicable under the collective agreement.
- Wages, advantages, hours of work, and other employment terms are in accordance with the Niik Steel Inc.–Shop Local Union #712 Collective Agreement.
- Training will be provided where required.

Pay: $19.57-$25.24 per hour
