Nova Staffing is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a Commercial Cleaner / General Labourer position in Summerside, PEI. This role involves working in a food processing environment, performing deep cleaning and sanitation duties to help maintain a protected, clean, and efficient production facility. This is a physically demanding position in a high-paced environment.

Candidates must be comfortable working in hot, greasy, wet, and dirty conditions and be willing to perform labour-intensive work throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food processing and production areas Clean and sanitize machinery, processing equipment, floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces Remove grease, debris, and product buildup from equipment and production areas Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely and effectively Follow all food safety, sanitation,



and workplace safety procedures Assist with general labour tasks as required Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility Complete other duties assigned by the supervisor Requirements Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a consistent basis Comfortable working in a fast-paced food processing environment Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working in hot, greasy, wet, and dirty conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previou Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
