We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HDI (Heavy-Duty Industrial) Technician to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Duties

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Operate heavy machinery safely during troubleshooting, repairs, and testing phases
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other industrial tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols meticulously during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance logs for compliance and tracking purposes




- Assist with assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment as needed to facilitate repairs or upgrades

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with dealership or industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, or similar heavy-duty machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with welding techniques and metal fabrication is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to industrial environments is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Prior experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is advantageous
