Elevate health and safety standards as a Health and Safety Manager for Agnico Eagle in Ontario. This full time role champions a zero-harm culture and drives strategic safety initiatives across multiple mining sites.

As the Health and Safety Manager for the Ontario Region, you will report directly to the Corporate Director, Health and Safety. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing safety operations at Detour Lake Mine, Macassa Mine, and related projects. You are expected to ensure compliance with Ontario's OHSA and foster a proactive safety culture aligned with Agnico Eagle’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:



• Champion zero-harm safety culture across Ontario operations • Lead site Health & Safety teams to meet corporate objectives • Advise senior leadership on health and safety issues • Ensure compliance with mining regulations and corporate standards • Monitor industry developments and guide safety practices

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety • CRSP designation preferred • 10+ years of safety leadership in mining • Knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation • Strong communication and analytical skills
