We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines. Primarily Volvo trucks.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing.
- Repair and maintain braking systems, suspension, steering, transmissions, and drivetrains.
- Identify mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Complete maintenance records and service reports as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck mechanic or diesel mechanic.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, truck systems,



and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Relevant mechanic certification or vocational training is an asset.
