RTI Equipment Solutions Inc. | Innisfil, Ontario

Our Business Is Growing. Our Fleet Is Expanding. And We're Building an Even Stronger Team!

At RTI Equipment Solutions Inc., growth isn't just something we talk about — it's happening every day!

As one of Ontario's established and rapidly expanding heavy construction equipment sales, rental, and service companies, RTI is making significant investments in our people, our facilities, and our future.

With a proud history dating back to 1984, RTI has built its reputation on exceptional customer service, industry expertise, and a commitment to keeping our customers' equipment working.

As an authorized Hyundai Construction Equipment and BOMAG and NPK dealer, and a trusted supplier of heavy construction equipment and attachments, we continue to expand our operations to support the growing demands of Ontario's construction, infrastructure, and earthmoving industries.

Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are actively recruiting experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our growing Service Department.

These are new opportunities created by our continued growth, not replacement positions. We're investing in additional skilled technicians to complement our existing team, increase our service capabilities, and support our expanding customer base.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for motivated, experienced, and dependable Heavy Equipment Technicians who take pride in their workmanship, enjoy solving mechanical challenges, and want to be part of a successful and growing organization.

- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drivetrains, final drives, cooling systems, and lubrication systems.

- Complete preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and major mechanical repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic software, technical manuals, and modern service technology.
- Install, maintain, and repair attachments and additional equipment components.
- Conduct equipment inspections and operational testing to ensure repairs meet RTI's quality and safety standards.
- Perform repairs in our service facility and attend customer job sites when required.
- Complete accurate work orders, service documentation, and repair reports.
- Work collaboratively with our Service, Parts, Rental, and Sales departments to ensure timely equipment turnaround.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We want technicians who are serious about their trade and take pride in doing the job right.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred.
- 310T Truck and Coach Technician certification considered an asset.
- Experienced heavy equipment mechanics with robust practical diagnostic and repair abilities are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Experience working on construction equipment such as Hyundai, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, Volvo, or similar equipment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence; DZ licence would be an assesst
- Willingness to learn new technologies, equipment systems, and diagnostic procedures.
