Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated high school teachers to join our expanding secondary school program.

We are particularly interested in teachers specializing in:

- French
- Health and Physical Education
- Science
- Canadian Geography

Applicants qualified to teach multiple subjects are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching takes place in person during morning hours, Monday through Thursday, with additional responsibilities related to lesson planning, assessment, and student progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons aligned with the Ontario secondary school curriculum.
- Teach assigned courses in small-class settings.
- Develop and administer assignments, assessments, tests, and evaluations.
- Monitor student achievement and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying academic abilities and learning needs.
- Support students completing independent coursework through our hybrid learning model.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment, and achievement.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school administration.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive school setting.




- Follow school policies and applicable Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of high school teaching experience required
- Demonstrated experience teaching the Ontario curriculum.
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification required.
- Relevant university degree in the subject area.
- Strong subject knowledge and instructional skills.
- Proven classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
- Experience developing lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
- Ability to support students with varying learning needs and academic abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using technology and digital learning platforms such as Moodle.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required.
