Role Overview
We are seeking a licensed G2 Gas Technician to support residential HVAC installations and service work across multiple projects.This role is ideal for someone who wants to expand beyond heating systems and gain exposure to air conditioning, heat pumps, and full HVAC systems. Opportunities to grow into refrigeration (313D) may be available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of:
- High-efficiency furnaces
- Central air conditioning systems
- Heat pumps and hybrid systems
- Tankless and standard water heaters
- Support service calls and basic diagnostics on gas and HVAC systems
- Assist with system start-ups and commissioning
- Ensure all work complies with:
- Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
- CSA B149 Gas Code
- Complete job documentation (photos, serial numbers, commissioning details)
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members and coordinators
Requirements:
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License (Ontario)
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Basic understanding of residential HVAC systems
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a rapid-paced environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with air conditioning or heat pump systems
- Interest in expanding into refrigeration (313D)
- Familiarity with field service software / digital work orders
