Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity and high quality standards
- Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste
- Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items that highlight Indian cuisine’s rich flavors
- Train team members on Indian cooking methods, customer service skills, and hospitality best practices





Experience

- Proven experience working as an Indian cuisine chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant workplace
- Supervising experience leading kitchen teams and managing food preparation operations
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
- Strong background in food handling, safety procedures, and maintaining hygiene standards in a busy kitchen setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage restaurant operations efficiently while delivering excellent food service
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles such as bartending or serving is a plus
