Crossroad Energy Solutions is seeking a Canadian Journeyman Instrument Technician for immediate work. The position is based out of Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, with most of the work taking place at customer sites in Texas. This is a travel-based role with extended periods working in Texas and periodic time off between rotations. The schedule will be discussed with candidates during the hiring process.

The successful candidate will

- Hold a Canadian Journeyman Instrument Technician or Mechanic certificate
- Have experience with industry RTU, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Have experience completing calibrations
- Perform maintenance and construction fieldwork
- Report to the Branch Manager for the area
- Be willing and able to travel to Texas for extended work periods
- Hold a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract




- Have a valid passport and be able to travel between Canada and the United States
- Have strong communication skills
- Work well in a rapid-paced team environment
- Be reliable, punctual, and fit for work
- Be willing to work flexible hours
- Bring a self-motivated approach and strong work ethic
- Have a safety-first mindset
- Hold current First Aid, Fall Arrest, and Elevated Work Platform certifications
- Be able to pass pre-employment testing

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
