Why Park Road

You’ve put in the work — competitive schooling, a few years at other firms — and you’re ready for more than just executing someone else’s vision. At Park Road, you’ll have a real voice. We want your ideas, your eye, and your initiative. If you bring the skills, we have the growth to match your potential.

Every project we take on is fully custom. No cookie-cutter work, no two projects alike. You’ll get variety, creative input, and a genuine path forward — not a dead-end junior role.

About Us

Park Road Design & Build is a residential design-build studio in the Northumberland area specializing in high-end renovations, additions, and custom homes. We bring design, project management, and construction under one roof — so our clients get a seamless experience from first conversation to final walkthrough.

Founded by Andrew Guthrie and Monique Carroll, Park Road is built on trust, transparency, seamless collaboration, and putting people first. Monique holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Sheridan College with deep expertise across both design and construction. Andrew’s background spans residential framing, Architectural Technology, and commercial construction management. Together, they’ve built a studio people are proud to be part of — and proud to recommend.

The Role

You’ll be embedded in the design process — sourcing materials, building client presentations, maintaining project documentation, and keeping the design side of our projects running seamlessly. You’ll work closely with the lead designer and have real input into the work.

This role does not include project management, construction coordination, budgeting, invoicing, or client financial management.
