Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Cook meals according to established facility procedures efficiently, maintaining consistency and presentation quality and traceability documentation is completed
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with facility standard operating procedures
- Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and storage to prevent contamination




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Receiving ingredients, logging batches, packaging finished product and maintaining all stages of facility traceability system,

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods preferred
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ideally have current Foodsafe 1
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning and growth in the food industry
- Basic physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform kitchen tasks effectively
