Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Installer and Assembler to join our production and field teams. In this dual role, you will be responsible for meticulously building cabinets from raw materials or subassemblies in our workshop, as well as transporting, leveling, and securely mounting completed units at various client job sites. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in finished carpentry, a deep understanding of hardware systems, and the problem-solving skills required to adapt to variable on-site wall and flooring dimensions

Core Responsibilities Workshop & Fabrication Assembly-

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret architectural blueprints, floorplans, detailed schematics, and material specifications.
- Material Preparation: Cut, trim, drill, plane, and sand wood, MDF, particleboard, and laminates to exact measurements using industrial woodworking machinery (e.g., table saws, edgebanders, drill presses) and portable power tools.
- Cabinet Structural Assembly: Fabricate and construct cabinet boxes, panels, and custom millwork configurations from pre-cut components or raw stock.
- Hardware Integration: Install functional and decorative modern hardware, including concealed European hinges, heavy-duty drawer slides, soft-close mechanisms, pull-outs, and decorative handles.
- Quality Inspection: Check all completed units for accurate squareness, seamless structural integrity, and impeccable surface finishes before staging for transport

On-Site Fitting & Installation-

- Pre-Installation Assessment: Measure site dimensions, locate wall studs using structural scanners, map layout guidelines,

and identify the highest point of floor elevations to plan the base layout.
- Modifications & Openings: Safely cut out openings in cabinet backings or bottoms to cleanly accommodate electrical outlets, plumbing valves, and drainage pathways.
- Precise Alignment: Anchor wall and base structures perfectly plumb, true, and level across uneven surfaces using structural shims, laser levels, and heavy-duty anchoring fasteners.
- Millwork Component Fitting: Scribe, cut, and flush-mount filler panels, toe-kicks, crown moldings, valances, and finish trim to ensure zero gaps between cabinets and structural walls.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a secure workspace, protect existing floors and countertops with drop cloths, and perform thorough waste cleanups post-installation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience working directly in cabinet making, structural assembly, or custom architectural millwork installation.
- Technical Literacy: Fluency in reading complex blueprints, technical drawings, and scaling calculations.
- Tool Proficiency: Mastery of both hand tools and stationary shop machinery (table saws, miter saws, pneumatic nailers, pocket-hole jigs, routers).
- Travel & Compliance: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company transit vehicles to field job locations.
- Safety Adherence: Solid operational knowledge of workplace safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and proper wood dust mitigation practices.

Pay: $18.80-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week

Benefits

- On-site parking

Work Location: In person
