Compensation: $22–$26/hour + performance-based commission

On-Target Earnings: $60,000–$75,000+

About the Opportunity

Choice Cabinet Canada is looking for an experienced kitchen designer who enjoys working with people, creating practical and attractive kitchens, and turning client inquiries into sales.

We work with homeowners, contractors and builders, offering cabinetry and countertop solutions for a range of budgets and styles. With showroom walk-ins, inbound inquiries and scheduled consultations, you’ll have opportunities to build client relationships and earn commission through strong performance.

This role suits someone who takes pride in accurate work, keeps projects moving and confidently guides clients from their first consultation through to an approved order.

The Role

You’ll combine kitchen design with sales and client service—understanding each client’s needs, developing suitable layouts, preparing accurate quotes and helping customers move forward with confidence.

Success means delivering thoughtful designs, meeting agreed deadlines, following up consistently and closing sales while protecting accuracy and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with homeowners, contractors and builders to understand their project requirements, budgets and timelines.
- Create functional, attractive kitchen layouts using 2020 Design.
- Read and interpret floorplans, measurements and appliance specifications.
- Prepare clear, accurate designs and quotes within agreed timelines.
- Guide clients through cabinetry, countertop, hardware and layout selections.
- Present proposals, answer questions,



address objections and confidently ask for the sale.
- Maintain organized client records and follow up on outstanding quotes and decisions.
- Check design details, document revisions and obtain approvals before finalizing orders.
- Prepare complete project information for ordering and coordination with the installation team.
- Attend occasional site visits and in-home consultations as required.
- Help maintain a welcoming, organized showroom.

What You Bring

- Previous kitchen design experience.
- Proficiency in 2020 Design or equivalent is required.
- A solid understanding of cabinetry, measurements, appliance clearances and practical kitchen layouts.
- Confidence discussing budgets, presenting quotes and closing sales.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage several active projects.
- Reliable follow-through and clear, professional communication.
- The ability to work independently while coordinating with the team.
- A valid driver’s licence for occasional site visits.
- Availability to work some Saturdays.
