We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our agile food service team. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions accurately to ensure quality and consistency
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff in a timely manner
- Help with dishwashing duties and waste disposal to keep the kitchen hygienic and operational




- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of stock shortages

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and hygiene standards in the food industry
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining attention to detail during meal preparation and service
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting supplies, and performing repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
