Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and productive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a focus on food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Previous restaurant, hotel, or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced culinary setting.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to meet safety standards
- Help with dishwashing and sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards
- Organize and restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations




- Support food service staff during busy periods by assisting with serving customers or guests when required
- Follow all safety protocols and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is considered an asset but not mandatory
