Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Commercial/Service Install Technician to oversee and execute complex installation projects within commercial and service environments. This role is vital in ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a leader on the team, you will coordinate installation activities, mentor trainee installers, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate commercial and service installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
- Supervise installation teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance.
- Interpret technical schematics, and wiring diagrams, PM of commercial Overhead Doors, and other mechanical components.
- Perform complex mechanical tasks including Installation of commercial doors, rolling doors, screens etc., performing and complete PM work as scheduled, welding procedures etc.




- Conduct inspections of installed systems to verify proper operation, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, safety checks, and compliance records.

Requirements The Overhead Door company of Peterborough is seeking a highly mechanically inclined individual, with strong electrical knowledge in low voltage, with strong leadership skills. As a lead you will be expected to install and repair overhead doors, rollers, openers, and other listed equipment required. Ability to perform daily duties with no physical limitations. This position requires a minimum 5 years related experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be a leader quickly. Own transportation to the work place a company vehicle is provided during workplace hours, clean driving record is required.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
