Alliance Strata Property Services
Parksville
Alliance Strata Property Services is a well-established strata management company. We manage a diverse portfolio of properties throughout British Columbia, including resort, multi-family, townhome style, bare land and complex strata communities. We’re growing and looking for licensed strata managers who value strong relationships, professional support and a more personal approach to strata management.
As a Licensed Strata Manager, you will be the primary professional resource for your assigned strata corporations, working closely with councils, owners, contractors, and our internal team. Responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with strata councils and owners
- Advising councils on the Strata Property Act, bylaws, governance, and operational matters
- Preparing for and attending council meetings, AGMs, and SGMs
- Assisting with budgets and reviewing financial information
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, contractors, quotations, and property projects
- Assisting with insurance matters, bylaw administration, and owner concerns
- Managing correspondence, decisions, priorities, and follow-up across your portfolio
While meetings are part of the profession, many of our council meetings are held during the day, helping reduce some of the evening commitments traditionally associated with strata management. What We’re Looking For
- Current BCFSA Strata Management Licence
- Strata management or related property-management experience
- Strong knowledge of the Strata Property Act
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively when unexpected issues arise
- Practical understanding of budgets, financial statements, maintenance, and property operations
- A professional, collaborative, and client-focused approach
Why Join Us?
- Flexible work environment
- Administrative and accounting support
- Portfolios structured with consideration for manager capacity, recognizing that portfolios and client needs evolve over time
- Many daytime council meetings
- Annual Christmas holiday closure with paid time off
- Opportunities for career advancement, professional development, and leadership growth
- A collaborative team environment where experienced managers have support when navigating challenging situations
We don't pretend strata management is a nine-to-five job. It can be busy, unpredictable, and demanding. What we do believe is that good people, solid internal support, flexibility, and a team that works together can make a demanding career a rewarding one. If you are an experienced Strata Manager looking for a company where you can continue to grow while being supported by a strong team, we would like to hear from you. Job Type: Full-time
