The King’s Head Pub is looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their food, works well with others, and can keep things moving during a busy service.

We have currently launched a new menu and are looking to accent that with some fresh kitchen talent. We offer a energetic and growing kitchen team with a drive for new techniques and an ever changing menu with many opportunities to learn, grow and build your skillset.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Set up, stock, and maintain your station before and throughout service.
- Complete daily prep and communicate shortages to the kitchen lead.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to deliver accurate orders on time.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, storage, and rotation procedures.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
- Help with opening, closing, cleaning, and other kitchen duties.
- Follow allergy procedures and communicate special dietary requests clearly.

What we’re looking for

- Previous line cook experience,



preferably in a busy pub or restaurant.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Consistent attention to food quality and presentation.
- A reliable, team-focused attitude and willingness to take direction.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work on your feet and safely handle the physical demands of a commercial kitchen.
- Food handler certification is an asset.

Working Conditions This is an active kitchen role involving extended periods of standing, repetitive tasks,

lifting and moving supplies, and working around heat and kitchen equipment.
