Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our team at a British pub-style restaurant, specializing in traditional English breakfast and classic British pub dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing hearty, traditional British food, with a strong understanding of breakfast service and pub-style cooking. We are looking for someone who takes pride in food quality, consistency, and presentation while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen organization.

Duties

- Prepare and cook traditional English breakfast dishes, including eggs, sausages, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, and other breakfast staples.

- Prepare and cook classic British pub dishes, such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, Sunday roasts, and other traditional favourites.

- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistent food quality.

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, marinating, and preparing ingredients.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.

- Ensure proper food handling,



storage, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Work efficiently during busy breakfast, brunch, and dinner services.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant, pub, or professional kitchen.

- Experience preparing English breakfast and traditional British pub food is strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of British cuisine, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes.

- Strong understanding of food safety, handling, and storage procedures.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- A passion for British cuisine and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour
