We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer with at least 2 years of experience to join a civil and commercial litigation practice in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will independently manage files from inception through trial, have courtroom experience, and be interested in developing their practice within a flexible, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

- Manage civil and commercial litigation files from start to finish, including trial preparation and representation.

- Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their interests.

- Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and other litigation documents.

- Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.

- Build and maintain robust client relationships.

- Manage an independent caseload while collaborating with colleagues.





- Identify opportunities to develop a practice and contribute to the growth of the litigation department.

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of litigation experience.

- Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.

- Demonstrated courtroom and client representation experience.

- Strong legal drafting and communication skills.

- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.

- Ability to manage files independently from inception through trial.

- Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.

- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

- Interest in practice development and client relationship management.
