Our OB/GYN Medical Clinic in Scarborough is seeking a friendly, reliable, and responsible Medical Office Assistant to join our team.
This position involves both administrative duties and assisting the physician in the examination room. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a women's healthcare environment, interacting with patients, and helping provide a skilled, respectful, and reassuring experience.
No previous medical office experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
- Escort patients to examination rooms and help prepare them for their appointments.
- Assist the physician during patient examinations, as required.
- Prepare examination rooms before appointments and clean and organize them between patients.
- Ensure examination rooms are properly stocked with medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the day-to-day clinical operations and maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Respect patient privacy, confidentiality, comfort, and dignity at all times.
- Provide support to the physician and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic.
Job Requirements
- Good command of English, with conversational proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Friendly, patient, and professional manner.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable assisting in an OB/GYN medical clinical setting, including during intimate examinations.
- Previous medical office experience is an asset but not required.
Working Hours Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
