Position Overview:

At Durham Harley-Davidson, the Motorcycle Technician is an essential member of the service team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. This role ensures that customers’ bikes are serviced accurately, efficiently, and safely with exceptional attention to detail and comprehensive technical and mechanical expertise.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines, accurately diagnose issues, and complete repairs as outlined in repair orders.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire changes, and carb clean setups.




- Work closely with Parts and Service Advisors to provide clear and timely updates on repair status, provide updates on additional repairs needed or delays encountered.
- Handle motorcycle prep, disassembly, and reassembly with precision
- Serve as a mentor by guiding and supporting apprentice technicians in their development
- Conduct road tests on repaired bikes to ensure proper functionality and quality of repairs; verify that bikes are returned to customers in clean condition, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with technical skills and attend sponsored training classes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment, adhering to dealership policies for workspace cleanliness.
- Follow dealership safety procedures and Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, including the use of PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, etc.), regular tool and equipment inspection, and the identification and reporting of any hazards to management.
- Perform other related duties as requested by management.

What You Bring:

- Must have undeniable passion for all things Harley-Davidson
- Must hold a valid 310(G) license
- Must have a valid Class M License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and comfortably balance/push 900lb motorcycles
- Ability to provide your own tools
- 2+ years of experience as licensed 310(G) Technician, with a strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
