Job Summary

We are seeking a energetic and highly skilled Network Engineer specializing in AWS Bedrock Connectivity to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure that seamlessly integrates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.

We’re looking for an engineer to design and configure a secure network connection for a Hong Kong team accessing authorized cloud services.

Responsibilities include

- Select and configure routers, firewalls and VPN equipment.
- Set up site-to-site VPNs, routing, DNS and access controls.
- Connect office infrastructure with AWS environments.
- Monitor connection performance and troubleshoot outages.
- Document the setup and provide ongoing technical support.

Required experience: enterprise networking, VPNs, firewalls, Linux and AWS networking. Experience with Fortinet, pfSense, MikroTik or similar equipment is preferred.

One distinction matters: a VPN changes the network connection; it doesn’t establish eligibility to use a particular AI model. The engineer should support the users’ actual Hong Kong location and the provider’s access requirements.

Your expertise will drive the development of scalable network solutions, support complex connectivity architectures, and enhance our cloud-based operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud networking, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to empower our digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement secure, scalable network architectures supporting AWS Bedrock integration with on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network),

MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), and SD-WAN solutions to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA), and Juniper equipment to uphold security and performance standards.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and network security protocols including IPsec and SSL/TLS.
- Implement high availability solutions utilizing load balancing, clustering, and virtualization technologies like vSphere and VMware to ensure continuous service delivery.
- Automate network management tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash shell scripting, PowerShell, and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Enforce security policies through firewalls (Cisco ISE), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), encryption standards, and access controls to safeguard data integrity across all network layers.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to develop SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes for deploying network solutions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Support data center operations by managing SAN storage systems, operating systems including Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), UNIX variants (Solaris, BSD), and Windows Server environments.

Skills

- Extensive experience with network support and administration across LAN/WAN environments with a solid understanding of Ethernet standards and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; VPN technologies including IPsec; MPLS; QoS; VoIP; and SSL/TLS encryption methods.
- Strong knowledge of network security practices involving firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, LDAP/Active Directory integration, PKI management, and authentication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere; cloud services including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure; containerization concepts; openSUSE Linux distributions; Debian-based systems; system administration on UNIX/Linux platforms.
- Skilled in scripting for automation using Python, Shell Scripting (Bash), PowerShell; familiar with Ansible for configuration management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), PRTG Network Monitor, Splunk for log analysis; experience with high availability configurations for critical systems.
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems including VoIP solutions; experience supporting data centers with SAN storage solutions; understanding of SDLC methodologies within an IT environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly in an Agile development setting while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of network architecture design and implementation.

Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team that thrives on innovation! Your expertise will help shape the future of our cloud connectivity infrastructure—empowering us to deliver exceptional digital experiences worldwide! Pay: $58,400.00-$141,000.00 per year
