We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician specializing in Dry Eye management to join our dynamic eye care team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and ophthalmic technology, with a particular focus on dry eye syndrome diagnosis and treatment. The Ophthalmic

Technician will be responsible for assisting Optometrist during examinations, performing specialized tests, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to follow-up care.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive dry eye assessments, including tear film analysis, ocular surface evaluations, and diagnostic testing using advanced ophthalmic equipment.
- Assist Optometrist during examinations by preparing patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the appointment.
- Manage electronic medical records efficiently, documenting patient histories, test results, and treatment plans accurately.
- Educate patients about dry eye conditions, treatment options,



and proper eye care practices to promote understanding and compliance.
- Support retail sales of optical products related to dry eye management and other eyewear needs by providing knowledgeable recommendations.

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a medical office setting with familiarity in electronic medical records systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to Optometry and Dry eye conditions.
- Experience in patient care with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations.
- Background in optical or ophthalmic technology with hands-on experience using diagnostic equipment for ocular surface assessments.
- Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining high standards of patient service.
