Empower residents at Optima Living as a Health Care Aide, delivering compassionate care in a supportive environment. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities and nurturing resident well-being.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will work alongside Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses. Your responsibilities include providing person-centered care, aiding in mobility, and maintaining residents' dignity during transitions. The ideal candidate brings a commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills, enhancing the lives of seniors.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing and dressing
- Support mobility and transfers for resident safety
- Administer medication and document changes accurately




- Help with move ins, palliative care, and end-of-life assistance
- Contribute to recreational activities alongside the Recreation Manager

Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
- Current registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Food Secure certification is an asset
- Experience in residential care preferred
