Overview:

As an important member of the 49th Parallel Team, the Order Support Representative will be key in supporting order fulfillment for the Ecommerce business. Most of your time will be spent picking and packing coffee and merchandise orders. This is a great role for a student, parent, or person looking for part-time hours.

This is a part-time, seasonal position offering 24 hours per week, based on-site at our Roastery in Burnaby, BC. The contract will run from November 2 to December 2, 2026, to support our team during the busy holiday season.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment (Pick, Pack, and Ship)

- Organize orders to be shipped in order of priority (express shipments first).
- Pick and gather coffee and products from warehouse.
- Carefully and accurately pack coffee and merchandise into shipping boxes.
- Collate order + shipping label + prior notice and label onto boxes.
- Flag missing inventory and work with Coffee Packing/Roasting team to request needed coffee for the day’s shipment.
- Pre-build boxes for next day’s orders and flag shipping material are needed when inventory runs low (boxes, tape, paper etc).




- Constantly evaluate current workflows and recommend opportunities to optimize processes.

Other
- Manage Ecommerce Inventory area, ensuring non-coffee products and merchandise are stored in labeled areas.
- Support Ecommerce Manager with Admin related needs.

Requirements:

- Physically able to lift and carry up to 30 Lb. and able to stand for 4+ hours per day
- Attention to detail and robust counting /math skills
- Comfortable with physical work (standing and lifting boxes)
- Speedy and accurate with picking, packing, shipping orders.
- Have a solid command of English
- Ability to live and demonstrate the Company Values

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong team player who can manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy
- Passion for Specialty Coffee and the coffee industry considered an asset

Pay: $18.25 per hour
