Outdoor Lighting Technician

$28–$38/hour | Full-Time, Year-Round | Metro Vancouver The Role

You don’t need lighting experience. If you have a solid background in construction, electrical, landscaping, irrigation, or another hands-on trade, we’ll teach you the lighting side.

Responsibilities

- Install premium landscape, architectural, and permanent outdoor lighting systems.
- Perform hands-on work including trenching, running wiring, mounting fixtures, and installing equipment.
- Plan installations, troubleshoot problems, and keep projects running efficiently.
- Maintain excellent workmanship, clean jobsites, and professional customer communication.
- Take initiative and solve problems without needing constant supervision.

Requirements
- Solid experience in construction, electrical, landscaping, irrigation, or a similar hands-on trade.
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work year-round, including Vancouver’s rainy weather.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, hardworking, and capable of working independently or with a team.
- Valid BC driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites throughout Metro Vancouver.
- Coachable, eager to learn, and ready to take on responsibility.





No previous outdoor lighting experience required.
