Colour Energy Corporation is a Vancouver-based aromatherapy company that makes custom and private-label products for retail and wholesale clients. We're growing and need a skilled, creative aromatherapist with hands-on perfume and fragrance experience to join our small team part-time.What You'll Work On

You'll develop, sample, and refine formulas across these product lines:

- Fragrance matching and duplication: Recreate fragrances from client-provided samples (for example, an amber accord) and build blends such as vanilla lavender amber and vanilla cotton candy.
- Fine fragrance: Duplicate perfume samples and create new perfumes from essential oils and fragrance oils in a perfumer's alcohol base.
- Custom client collections: Develop perfumes, body mists, and room sprays for new customers, from brief through finished samples.
- Hair care: Formulate a hair deodoriser, hair spray, and hair gel.
- Body and lip oils: Create shimmer body oils with cosmetic pigments and biodegradable glitter, and lip oils with cosmetic-grade mica. All formulas must be vegan and cruelty-free.
- Documentation: Keep accurate formula records, batch notes, and sample logs so products can be scaled and reproduced consistently.

What We're Looking For





- Proven experience creating perfumes and blending fragrances. Please include examples of your work.
- Strong knowledge of essential oils, fragrance oils, and how to work with perfumer's alcohol
- Ability to analyse and match an existing scent by nose
- Experience with cosmetic formulation (oils, sprays, gels) is a strong asset
- Familiarity with cosmetic pigments, micas, and suspending shimmer in oil
- Knowledge of vegan and cruelty-free ingredient sourcing
- Understanding of safe usage rates, IFRA guidelines, and Health Canada cosmetic requirements is an asset
- Aromatherapy certification or perfumery training preferred
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working independently on several projects at once
