Who You Are:
You’ve always loved to work with your hands and want to be part of a busy and growing shop. You’re a maker at heart and strive to efficiently produce excellent results.
Whether it’s a table saw, band saw, planer or jointer, you’re in your element. At the same time, you’re comfortable with computers and CAD/CAM software, and interpreting drawings is definitely in your wheelhouse. What differentiates you, however, is your ability to be truly self-motivated, while always keeping in mind the needs of your team.
You’ll fit in beautifully with your strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile. Your woodworking skills and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a willingness to learn, will be prized here. Fundamentally, you’re as comfortable with a table saw as you are with a computer. Indeed, you’re gifted with all hand tools, and your expertise with wood cutting machines will be a valued asset.

Patternmaking
You’ll use your woodworking talents to create accurate and durable patterns for use in our foundry’s no-bake sand moulding process. Our busy and growing CNC shop supports patternmaking and production, integrating traditional patternmaking methods with modern machining technology. CAD/CAM experience is valued.
Repairing Patterns
You’ll repair damaged patterns, helping production run smoothly to make quality castings.
Modifying Patterns
You’ll measure and modify existing patterns to meet customer specifications.
