Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting medication administration when appropriate
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient information, and pharmacy transactions in compliance with legal standards
- Use medical terminology accurately to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients




- Support hospital staff by coordinating medication deliveries and ensuring timely availability of essential drugs
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols to protect patient privacy and ensure a secure pharmacy environment

Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is advantageous
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus
- Certification or training related to pharmacy assistance or healthcare is desirable but not mandatory
