About the Role

We’re looking for a kind, reliable caregiver to support our 78-year-old family member with their evening and bedtime routine. They are independent and mobile, and simply need a helping hand in the evenings to stay comfortable and secure at home. Portuguese is first language, can understand english. Location is North Vancouver, central lonsdale- close to transit

Responsibilities

- Assist with basic dressing and undressing
- Provide shower assistance
- Support the nighttime routine and help settle into bed
- Offer friendly companionship and conversation

What We’re Looking For

- Experience caring for seniors (formal or personal)
- Patient, respectful, and dependable




- Portuguese-speaking strongly preferred (European or Brazilian Portuguese both welcome)
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Available most or all evenings; flexibility appreciated

Nice to Have

- First Aid / CPR certification
- Care aide or health care assistant training
- References from previous caregiving roles
