Production Operator

Starting Wage: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Seasonal position: 7 months contract with possible opportunity for permanent position transition

Position Overview

Annelida Soil Solutions is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and hands-on Afternoon Shift Production Operator to oversee operations on our automated bagging line. This role is responsible for supporting production targets while working with a small team and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

The successful candidate will complete approximately two weeks of hands-on training on the day shift before transitioning to the regular afternoon shift schedule.

Shift Schedule

Training Period (First 2 Weeks)

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Regular Afternoon Shift

- Monday to Friday
- 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Overtime as required

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the FFS bagging line to ensure protected, efficient, and consistent production.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production targets.
- Complete daily production reports, downtime tracking, and operational logs.
- Operate a telehandler to feed material into the Rotomix system.
- Support team members assigned to the production line.
- Support coordination of workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Operate palletizer and associated production equipment.
- Work closely with forklift operators and shipping personnel to maintain production flow.
- Support performing quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.




- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic repairs when required.
- Support shift handovers and communicate production concerns to management.
- Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience operating production bagging equipment or similar production machinery preferred.
- Experience operating a telehandler required; forklift experience is considered an asset (2+ years experience min.)
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.

Experience

- Production line experience preferred
- Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience: 1 year preferred
- Telehandler operation: preferred: 2 years min
