Location: True North Mine, Bissett, Manitoba (Camp-Based)

Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off rotation - day schedule

Work Location Note: This position is based at the True North Mine site. Camp accommodations and meals are provided during scheduled work rotations. Travel to and from site is covered in accordance with the Company’s travel policy.

Position Overview

1911 Gold Corporation is seeking a safety-focused Project Geologist to support and oversee exploration and drilling activities at the True North Mine in Bissett, Manitoba. This role plays a key part in surface and underground drilling programs, core logging, sampling, geological interpretation, and data management.

The Project Geologist supports the advancement of exploration targets and resource development through accurate data collection, geological modeling, and reporting. Reporting to the Exploration Manager or designated Supervisor, this position works closely with the geology team, drilling contractors, and other site departments to ensure exploration programs are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Exploration & Drilling Programs

- Supervise surface and underground drilling programs to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to manage drilling schedules and priorities.
- Support exploration of target development and resource advancement through geological interpretation.

Core Logging, Sampling & Data Management

- Oversee core logging, sampling, and QA/QC procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Compile, validate, and interpret geological data from drilling programs.
- Maintain accurate geological databases, records, and supporting documentation.

Team Leadership & Development

- Provide day-to-day supervision of geology team personnel.
- Support training and development of junior geologists and technicians




- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Survey, Mapping & Technical Work

- Leapfrog geological modelling software
- MX Deposit database systems
- QGIS mapping tools
- Geochemical and geophysical data interpretation systems

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, or Geological Engineering
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or provincial equivalent).

Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience
- Previous experience working on exploration drilling programs
- Experience on underground drilling programs preferred.
- The ideal candidate has further education or qualifications in the field of management or supervision .
- Experience in orogenic gold deposit and structural geology preferred.

Professional Designation

- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in the Province of Manitoba.
