About Colibri NeuroWellness

Colibri NeuroWellness is a dynamic, client-centered, multi-disciplinary neuropsychology, psychology and therapy practice dedicated to providing evidence-based, high-quality services to individuals across the lifespan. We are focused on making a positive difference through compassionate and innovative care focused on the whole person. We work with a wide range of clients and many of our clinicians have an interest in working with the neurodivergent community or individuals who have neurological differences.

Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services within a welcoming, inclusive and neuroaffirming environment.

The Role – Focus On Supporting Your Clients, We’ll Handle the Rest

We’re hiring a Psychologist (Clinical or School or Neuro) or Psychological Associate to join our team and provide high-quality care to children, teens, and their families. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who wants to focus on assessments and/or therapy (not administrative work), values consultation, and brings warmth and clinical excellence. This role is best suited for those who truly enjoy working with children and teens, and see the benefit of working in a team environment.

There is also the opportunity to conduct neuropsychological and/or psychoeducational assessments if you have the required background.

What You’ll Do:

- Empower Clients: Provide exceptional assessment and therapy services to primarily children and teens,

and possibly adults (if within your area of expertise).
- Innovate & Collaborate: Work with a dynamic team of psychology staff and therapists, sharing insights and strategies to continually enhance our services and outcomes.
- Grow & Thrive: Benefit from ongoing consultation and learning opportunities.

What We Offer:

- Competitive compensation: $122.50 - $159 per hour.
- Referrals and marketing support to help you build a caseload.
- A combination of in-person and virtual work (hybrid).
- Full office services and an administrative team (so you can focus on your clinical work).
- A collaborative team workplace with consultation with Psychologists and other team members.
- Conveniently located off of Highway 85 in north Waterloo with free parking.

Who We Work With Our child and teen clients often present with:

· ADHD or self-regulation/executive functioning challenges

· Autism or autistic traits, including social-communication challenges

· Anxiety, emotional ups and downs, perfectionism, self-criticism

· Interpersonal struggles, either with peers or family

· Trauma and nervous system dysregulation

What We’re Looking For:

- Registration with the CPBAO: Eligibility to practice autonomously in Ontario.
- Experience & Expertise: Demonstrated experience in providing assessment and/or therapy services, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and solid case conceptualization and treatment planning skills.
- Compassion & Empathy:

Warmth and a genuine desire to help others and a deep commitment to client-centered care.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Advanced Training & Clinical Specialization (Strong Asset): We’re especially interested in clinicians with advanced training and demonstrated competence in one or more of the following:
- CBT / DBT (advanced application beyond basics)
- EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)
- IFS (Internal Family Systems)
- Art and/or Play-Based Approaches
- Psychoeducational or Neuropsychological Assessment
- Technology Requirement: Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office products and Jane Practice Management software, or being a quick learner. Access to reliable internet, a private space for virtual sessions, and comfort with telehealth best practices.
