We are currently seeking experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for an opportunity at a long-term care facility.

Work Setting: Long-Term Care Facility

Compensation: 35-40

Schedule: Day, Evening, and Night Shifts

Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate RPNs with substantial experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) who understand the responsibilities, expectations, and demands of working in a long-term care environment.

The ideal candidate is confident in delivering nursing care, managing resident needs, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide secure, compassionate, and resident-centred nursing care in accordance with established care plans and professional standards.
- Administer medications and treatments within the RPN scope of practice.
- Monitor, assess, and document residents' health conditions and report significant changes.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Personal Support Workers (PSWs), physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and complete required reports.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols and facility policies.
- Respond appropriately to resident concerns, emergencies, and changes in health status.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Substantial experience in long-term care is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of LTC nursing responsibilities and resident care expectations.
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing,



with no restrictions.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)/Police Clearance.
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
- Current N95 respirator fit-testing certification.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Completed two-step TB testing.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
