Experienced Construction Labourer – General Contracting

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Minimum 2 years of construction experience required

Ruetz Contracting Ltd. is a family-owned general contracting company established in 1989, specializing in residential, commercial, and agricultural construction.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Lead Hand on a variety of projects, ranging from smaller renovations to large new construction.

Applicants must have previous hands-on construction experience, be comfortable using tools and equipment, and be capable of completing assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Lead Hand with daily construction activities.
- Perform general construction duties, including framing, demolition, renovations, exterior finishes, and new construction.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Measure, cut, and install building materials as directed.
- Assist with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Work efficiently on projects of varying types and sizes.
- Follow construction drawings and instructions as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience required.
- Experience in residential, commercial,



or agricultural construction.
- Proficient with common hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and job-site safety.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and alongside a Lead Hand.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing construction duties.
- Willingness to take direction and adapt to different projects.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
