Compensation
Each contractor or employee is typically assigned 5–15 driveways, providing a stable monthly income.
- Guarantee: You keep your monthly payment even if it doesn’t snow.
- Ice Melt + Rock Chip: Provided to you at no cost throughout the season, so you can apply it for clients who have selected Ice Melt + Rock Chip.
- Payment Structure: Based on driveway size, ranging from $142 to $227 per driveway per month.
- Example: 10 driveways at $168/month = $1,680 monthly income.
- Missed Snowfalls: If you’re unable to complete your route on a day it snows, the Per Temp/Clear Snowfall Price (see Payment Structure below) for each missed driveway will be deducted from your next payment, as we will need to pay someone else to clear those driveways.
- Payroll Schedule: Paid semi-monthly — half on the 7th and half on the 22nd of each month. The season starts November 1st, your first payment will be November 22nd and your last payment will be April 7th.

Other (Driveways under 500 sq ft or over 3000 sq ft)
- Pricing dependent on driveway size
*Payment Per Month is based on a 65/35 split. For example, if a client has a small (S) driveway, they pay $219, resulting in you being paid $142 (65%) and us being paid $77 (35%) to cover the money and effort we put into acquiring the client. While the majority of clients pay the standard price outlined in the payment structure, if a client pays more or less than the standard price, such as when a small discount is granted to earn their business, the 65/35 split is based on what the client actually pays.
