Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing the guest experience and increasing sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery to guests
- Address guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally,



and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Assist in setting up dining areas, restocking supplies, and supporting team members during busy periods

Requirements

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
