There’s always something going on at The Great British Shop. Between sending online orders to customers across Canada, preparing bakery orders for delivery throughout Nova Scotia and keeping our shop stocked, there’s plenty to get involved in.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person who enjoys getting stuck in, pays attention to the details and likes a working day that doesn’t always look the same.

Much of your time will involve picking and packing online orders for shipping Canada-wide, making sure the right products are packed carefully and arrive looking their best. Alongside that, you’ll help prepare wholesale bakery orders, manage stock and support different people across the shop and bakery as priorities change.

Your day could include

- Picking, checking and packing online orders for customers across Canada.
- Packing bakery orders for our wholesale customers throughout Nova Scotia.
- Receiving deliveries, checking stock and putting products away.
- Replenishing shelves, rotating stock and keeping storage areas organised.
- Helping the bakery team with practical tasks,



such as egg washing products.
- Cleaning work areas, equipment and floors to keep everything tidy and ready for the next job.

You won’t follow exactly the same routine every day. Some days will focus heavily on online orders; others will involve a mix of packing, deliveries, stock and bakery support. Being happy to switch tasks and work with different members of the team is a big part of the role. We’d love to hear from someone who brings energy, takes care with their work and notices the small things. Accuracy matters, whether you’re checking the contents of a parcel, counting a delivery or making sure a bakery order is complete.

Experience in order packing, retail, stock handling or a bakery would be helpful but certainly not required!

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
