Duties

- Lead and supervise retail staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
- Manage store operations efficiently, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and inventory control through purchasing and merchandising strategies.
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed targets, utilizing marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
- Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning within the market.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Monitor store budget, perform bookkeeping tasks, and manage payroll processes accurately.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to promote continuous improvement and team cohesion.
- Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, negotiate purchasing agreements, and optimize product assortment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations,



cash handling procedures, and store policies through diligent supervision.
- Apply organizational skills to manage stock levels, perform inventory audits, and streamline store workflows for maximum efficiency.

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or a similar leadership role within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management with a focus on achieving sales goals through effective team leadership.
- Strong background in merchandising, pricing strategies, and store presentation techniques.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (preferred) or multilingual settings; ability to conduct interviews and training effectively.
- Skilled in negotiation with vendors or suppliers to secure favorable purchasing terms.
- Familiarity with marketing initiatives and promotional planning to boost store traffic and sales.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Organizational expertise in budgeting, administrative tasks, and maintaining detailed records for audit purposes.
